LOKA: End-to-End UI/UX Design & Flutter Development

The Challenge

The job search process can often feel fragmented and overwhelming. The challenge was to design and build a clean, intuitive, and seamless mobile application prototype that simplifies the core journey of finding and saving job opportunities.

My Role & The Solution

As the Sole Creator, I handled the entire project lifecycle for 'LOKA,' from initial concept and design to a functional Android application. This project showcases my comprehensive skills in both UI/UX and mobile development.

• UI/UX Design (Figma): I designed the complete user journey, creating high-fidelity mockups and a clickable prototype. This included designing all core screens and planning for future features like an advanced search.

• Mobile Development (Flutter): I brought the designs to life using Flutter, engineering the front-end and back-end integration. Key features include secure user authentication with Firebase, a browsable feed of job listings from Cloud Firestore, and a bookmarking feature for saving positions. For a clean and scalable architecture, I used Cubit for predictable state management.

The Results & The Impact

The result is 'LOKA,' a functional Android prototype that proves my ability to manage a project from start to finish. The project serves as a tangible demonstration of my skills in creating applications that are not only well-engineered but also thoughtfully designed.

Key features include:

• Secure Authentication: Easy sign-up and sign-in with email and password.

• Seamless Browse: Users can browse job listings and view detailed requirements.

• Bookmarking & Application: Users can save their favorite jobs for later and apply directly within the app.

• Application Tracking: A system for users to track the status of their job applications.
